Grading Period

Grading periods are segments within a course where you want to calculate the grade for the students so that you can monitor how they are performing throughout each segment. Examples of grading periods are Terms, Semesters, Quarters etc. Grading Periods need to have defined start and end dates. Grading Period dates cannot overlap. Payil will calculate the grades for each subject for each grading period based on the assessments conducted during each grading period.

Click on Add button () to add a new grading period to the course.

Enter the name of the grading period and set the start date and end date of that grading period and click save. Grading Period dates cannot overlap. This will help Payil calculate the grades for each subject of each grading period based on the assessments conducted during each grading period.

To make any changes further in that grading period you can click on the edit icon, make changes and then click the Update button.
